Linking Health & Learning (School Wellness Bulletin)
This monthly, electronic resource is intended to keep Vermont educators and youth-serving professionals up-to-date on resources, professional development and grant/funding opportunities, and other issues related to healthy and safe schools. NOTE: The bulletin is not published during the summer months.

This new year issue of our e-bulletin highlights two healthy school awards; new, free resources for teachers and students; plus state and national grant opportunities.

Check out this issue for the latest updates to the Fit and Healthy Kids School Wellness Award program and to learn about Velocity, an afterschool program for boys. The professional development section features spring courses for licensure in health or driver education, plus other workshops and webinars. Many grant opportunities continue to support school gardens, plus the Vermont Department of Health will be disseminating funding to improve indoor air quality in schools.
